High End Beauty Products That Make Me Feel Fancy

There are so many affordable beauty products available now that really give their higher end alternatives a run for their money, but I can’t help but gravitate toward the luxe side of things. I really wish I didn’t as it’s a bit of an expensive pursuit, but the lure of gorgeous packaging and the satisfaction I get from a luxurious pick is a little addictive! Here’s a few of my recent high end favourites that make me feel all fancy when I use them.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit - Surreal Light | This palette also fits in the ‘products I should use more’ category, but seeing as I mainly apply my makeup on my daily commute I’m too scared I’ll break this to take it with me! I’ve been using it more at home so it’s a start. The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders are the ultimate beauty luxury for me. From the marble packaging to the gorgeous highlight that laces through each shade, these super finely filled powders give the most beautiful finish to any makeup look. Hourglass powders seem to last forever, so I would also argue that they give great value for money.

Tom Ford Nude Vanille Lipstick | I can’t think of anything more fancy than whipping out a sleek black and gold Tom Ford lipstick. This nude pink shade goes with literally every single makeup look, making it a very versatile pick. If a single lipstick can equal what I spend in Sainsbury's in a week then it has to get a fair amount of use! The formula is so exquisite and moisturising so it’s a joy to wear as well.

Maison Margiela Replica Lazy Sunday Morning Eau de Toilette | Each fragrance in the Replica range focuses on a different scent from a difference place in time, a scent memory if you will. On the front of the bottle it recounts this memory, detailing what inspired it. In the case of Lazy Sunday Morning, it's soft skin and fresh bed linen, which couldn't be more accurate (or fancy sounding). It's such a dreamy scent, and one I would insist everyone checks out. It's romantic and feminine, but also quite soft. It's musky side plays down the floral notes, keeping it delicate.  Freshness is derived from
from patchouli and lily of the valley and it's quite literally a dream to wear.

By Terry Celluarose CC Serum | This serum-based CC cream from By Terry is about as luxurious as it comes. It's a light but deeply moisturising pick that smooths over the skin, melting into place and eradicating any redness or unsightly imperfections. It's pretty much undetectable on the skin, all for the soft rose fragrance that adorns the By Terry line. It's without a doubt the most fancy base product that I own and I've had many amazing skin days because of it.
