The CC Cream That Changed Everything

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream

I'll admit it, I'm kinda over the whole alphabet cream thing. I can't really tell a massive difference between them if I'm honest, other than I find BB creams give a nice light coverage and CC creams can often take a bit of work to blend in. So when IT Cosmetics came to the UK via QVC and everyone was raving about the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream I didn't get too excited.

But, when IT Cosmetics had a today's special value on QVC which included said CC cream I thought I'd give it a go. The beauty of QVC is they offer refunds for up to a month, even on used beauty products, so I knew I could return it if it wasn't love at first (or fifth) blend.

I went for fair which is the lightest shade, so when I pumped a little bit out and saw it was a bit yellow than I'd usually go for I really thought it was a no go. In actual fact, this is the most perfect shade for me and cancels out any redness, leaving me with a natural radiance that I didn't expect to see. So for me it really does colour correct - maybe not just marketing hype after all?

The IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream offers a wopping great SPF 50, which I thought might make blending a little tough, but actually I couldn't have been more wrong. It blends very easily, meshing quite seamlessly into the skin and considering its more on the dewy side it has pretty good staying power. Combo and oily skins might want to skip this one, but if you're on the normal to dry spectrum and want easy perfect skin you're going to want to check this out. It's certainly not going back, in fact I think it will need prising from my cold dead hands makeup bag soon as I'm not interested in anything else. Game changer!

Are alphabet creams your thing or just hype?
