Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood Fix

nip+fab dragons blood fix

Now, I'm fully aware that I harp on about Nip+Fab on this here blog a lot, but that's simply because their products are so darn good. They carry great ingredients that really do deliver and they're affordable too. There's so much stigma that you have to buy expensive skincare in order to see benefits but that's simply not true.

I've been testing out the Nip+Fab Dragons Blood Fix range* and it's another goodun'. I promise. No dragons were harmed in the making of this range I can assure you, but dragons blood is actually a resin which comes from the Croton Lechleri tree. It's been used in medicine for centuries as it's great for healing and protecting skin from environmental aggressors. Nip+Fab took it one step further though and added it in with salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid to create their Dragon's Blood Fix range, resulting in a highly effective set of products which protect, intensely hydrate and plump the complexion. Hydration and radiance are two things that I really need to combat my dry and dehyrdated skin so Nip+Fab's Dragon Blood Fix range couldn't be more tailored for me.

I really enjoy using exfoliating toners as you know, so the Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Cleansing Pads* have fitted into my routine perfectly. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to use these to cleanse your face, but as they contain salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid they definitely fit the toner step in my book. The pads are quite thick and well drenched in product so one covers the whole face. They're also textured which helps push the product into the skin. As the Dragon's Blood Cleansing Pads contain salicylic acid and witch hazel, they soak straight into the skin, clearing pores and healing any breakouts and calming redness. They're super refreshing too, so perfect for waking my up in the morning.

Next up is one of Kylie Jenner's faves, the Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Serum*. I'd love to have her perfect young skin, but I'm being realistic and using this serum instead. I tend to use this in the morning as it's a lightweight yet moisture packed concoction. I like to keep my morning routine as simple as I can, so this serum with a moisturiser on top provides a great base for makeup. It leaves my skin comfortable and my lines and wrinkles are definitely less noticeable.

I always love when a range includes a mask as they're one of my favourite products to use and they're so effective to boot. The Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Mask* is a gel mask which again intensively hydrates and plumps the skin, making it much more youthful. It leaves my skin super smooth and blurs out any of the uglies. It also refines the texture of the skin, hiding any visible pores and reducing redness and diffusing any blemishes. There's not much this little tube can't do and I'd literally use this every day if I could, I'm obsessed!

I haven't really said anything on this yet, but yesterday I was prescribed Roaccutane to fix my acne so I'll need as much moisture and skin plumping that I can get my hands on over the next few months. For me, the Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood range fits the bill perfectly so its most definitely incorporated into my skincare routine now. I'll be doing a series on my experience of taking Roaccutane, along with some other skincare bits, so if there's anything you'd like me to cover let me know in the comments.

Have you tried this range yet?
