Facacia Skincare System

A photo of the Facacia Skincare System

I've talked many a time about my skin and its tendency to try and resemble the texture of the moon, so anything anti-blemish focused is right on my radar.

I've been using the Facacia Skincare System* (£29.99) for a few weeks now so I thought it was time to share my thoughts with you. The range is Gary Cockerill, makeup artist to the stars' "unsung beauty hero", and he preps his clients' skin with the two step system before applying makeup. If you've never heard of Gary before, his clients include Kelly Brook, Amanda Holden and Myleene Klass to name a few. Skin can be put under a lot of stress on shoots and Facacia is designed to deep clean the skin, bringing out its natural radiance and injecting a cocktail of vitamins.

The Facacia skincare range consists of a 2-in-1 anti-bacterial face wash/toner, which comes in a dual pumping bottle along with a soothing serum. The face wash is a foaming formulation which is not at all drying. I am always surprised (and happy) when a foaming face wash doesn't leaving me clawing at my thirsty dry face and this one does not disappoint. It leaves my skin incredibly clean but comfortable feeling.

The serum is beautiful, very soothing and leaves my skin nourished and soft. My skin has been a nightmare recently and although I have continued to break out, the spots have healed more quickly than usual, including one so large it deserved its one post code. The redness has significantly reduced and it doesn't look like my skin is scarring which it tends to do.

All in all I'm one happy camper with much happier skin to boot. What I will say is this is incredibly similar to FaceB4 which I reviewed here. In fact, I couldn't find any difference between the two which are incidentally both made by the same company.

The Facacia skincare system  is exclusive to QVC and but at present they only have the serum in stock. If you suffer with blemish prone, irritated skin this range is definitely worth giving a go.

Have you tried this or similar anti-bacterial skincare ranges?
