The coveted base | Make Up For Ever

Everyone has that little list on their phone...you know the one I mean. That little wish list of makeup and skincare products that you covet most. There's been a couple of said items on my list for quite some time that I've now managed to delete.

I'm talking about the Make Up For Ever  HD Invisible Coverage Foundation and the Full Coverage Extreme Camouflage Concealer. MUFE is available in the UK, but only online so I've been too scared to take the risk and pick out shades online. A couple of weeks back I went to IMATS so it was the perfect opportunity to test out both products for myself and I'm so glad I did. I'm usually the lightest pink toned or neutral shade in most ranges but the sales assistant recommended I try the shade 115 in the foundation and 3 in the concealer. Both are the perfect match for my skin.

I've only used them a few times each so far but I can see why everyone praises them so much. The foundation is supposed to be next to invisible on the skin, and whilst I don't believe its possible for a base to be truly undetectable, this is pretty damn close. It builds beautifully and covers up most of the warzone that is my blemish ridden face. I've been using the concealer both on blemishes and under my eyes and it really does the trick. It's name screams thick and cakey but it really isn't. I find it glides on and provides great coverage without settling in any lines.

I'm slowly working my way through my list and will be showing you some bits that I've picked up recently over the coming weeks. I'd really love to know what's on your most coveted list so do share yours with me and maybe they'll end up on my list too!

    1. That's why I waited to long and its probably a good thing I did as I would have blindly bought a lighter shade. I hope you get to try them out, can't say enough good things about 'em!

Thanks, will check out your giveaway for sure :) x
