Topshop Beauty

Topshop Beauty

I've dabbled with Topshop Beauty over the years, with the odd lipstick or highlighter, but it's never really grabbed my attention fully. It keeps cropping up on some of my favourite blogs and Instagram feeds lately so I thought it was only fair to properly check out the range.

I'm a sucker for a pretty and intense highlight, so the Topshop Glow Liquid Highlighter was my first port of call. Being the indecisive Aquarian that I am, I couldn't choose between the two shades they had so naturally picked them both up! I think you'll agree that they are really something.

Topshop Glow Liquid Highlighter

Topshop Glow Liquid Highlighter

Topshop Glow Liquid Highlight in Misty is very much the kind of shade I'm drawn too; a light pearly pink, designed to make the fairest complexion glow. It's actually very similar to Benefit High Beam so there's definitely no need to own both (but if you do, who am I to judge?). The formula is quite light and blends into the skin well on top of foundation, giving the most pretty ethereal glow.

Blaze is the most incredible shade, it's literally like molten rose gold! I am absolutely obsessed with it, and find it really awakens my skin and goes well with a tan (faux in my case). I am so tempted to run this along my collarbone and shoulders for some extra radiance as it is just too good not to. The shimmer in these liquid highlighters is very small so they mix amazingly with a bb creams and foundations if you want to up your glow even more.

Topshop Smoke Stick

The Topshop Smoke Sticks really caught my eye as I love stick shadows, and the By Terry O'mbre Blackstrs in particular (yet not the price!). Trickster is a beautiful golden brown which I'm most likely gonna wear to death - it's totally the shade I gravitate towards. I also picked up the champagne hued Glory, which looks amazing when paired with a dash of Trickster to define the eye socket. Realm is a pale pink shade which really brightens my eyes. The swatches really don't do these much justice so do go and check them out in person.

The Topshop Smoke Sticks couldn't be more simple to apply; they blend well before setting after and then really don't budge. I went for shimmery shades but the matte smoke sticks also look pretty beaut. I may have to investigate those as well!

Have you tried these or anything else from Topshop Beauty? Anything I need to pick up?

Stella McCartney EDP

Stella McCartney eau de parfum

I've had this little bottle of Stella McCartney Eau de Parfum for a few years now, but it's only recently that I realised quite how much I loved it, and also how many fragrance purchases it later inspired.

Delving Into The World Of DHC Skincare

DHC skincare review

I was first introduced to DHC Skincare a few years back when my local Fenwicks stopped stocking it and I picked up a liquid eyeliner for £4! And ever since I've been kicking myself that I didn't buy the entire stock they had as it was all so reduced.

The Beauty Products I Can't Run Out Of

As a beauty obsessive (collector?) I like to try lots of different products, so I tend to hop to something new rather than make a repurchase. That said, I was sorting through my beauty products earlier in the week and found a few picks that I love so much that I won't be allowing myself to run out of them any time soon.

Summer Nails

summer nails

I don’t tend to wear that much colour on my nails throughout the year, but when summer rolls round its a great excuse to incorporate a bit of colour into my usually quite neutral nail wardrobe. I’ve picked out a few of my favourite summer nail shades which should keep you sorted throughout the summer months.
