Lazy Girl Brows

I always feel like if I've got my mascara on and my brows done I can kinda tackle anything. Brows frame the face after all and do make such a difference. While my brows and I have had our ups and downs over the years (who hasn't got tweezer happy!?), I've managed to get them to a place that I'm happy with. They're still a bit gappy in places but overall, they're cool.

In fact, more often than not I've been able to keep my little brow routine really paired back, or as I like to call it, my Lazy Girl Brows. Sometimes I'll just pair this with mascara and if I'm feeling fancy a little flick of liquid liner, so the brief is very much minimal.

To define the arch and elongate the brow I do need to fill in a little, which is where the Paul & Joe Liquid Eyebrow Pen in 03* comes into play. Although it's the darkest shade in the range, It's a little lighter than the natural colour of my brows, so perfect for creating soft hair strokes and hiding the gaps while creating subtle definition to the shape and arch of my brows. I use this at the front as well and it looks so natural. I find that brow pens are perfect for keeping things simple and never appearing overdone. Block heavy brows aren't my thing that's for sure. I've had the Paul & Joe brow pen for a while now and it's only just starting to run out. A repurchase is on the cards!

My brow hairs are pretty long and wild, so they definitely need slicking into place otherwise things can get a little crazy looking by lunchtime! For this I'm totally smitten with the Glossier Boy Brown in Medium. The colour match is really good and it's not too thick so it's easy to apply exactly where you want it. It keeps my brows in place all day and importantly without that crispy, stuck to your  face feeling! I've been brushing my brows up at the front a la Emma Watson and I think it looks really flattering. This keeps things on my Lazy Girl Brow brief; minimal effort, fluffy brows! Brow Boy is definitely one to put on your wishlist for when they come to the UK later this year. Or if you can't wait, check out this post on how to buy from the UK right now.

Are lazy girl brows your thing too?
