A Buffing Duo From Caudalie

Caudalie exfoliating buffing duo review.

Exfoliation is next to cleansing in the instantly gratifying department for me. There's something about sloughing away impurities and leaving the skin radiant and ready to take in goodness that is just so rewarding. And one of the most important factors when I am choosing a new exfoliator is how gentle it is as while I want silky smooth skin, I don't want to scratch or damage it in anyway.

I find that a lot of the french pharmacy brands produce the best physical exfoliators, as most of their products are aimed at sensitive and reactive skin, so you know they will be gentle. Caudalie recently released a buffing duo to their range which have all of my exfoliating needs covered. They're being referenced as a duo but they're not designed to be used at the same time. However, whether you're after a gentle or deep exfoliation these have it down for sure. Also, as you would expect from Caudalie, the ingredients are 97% natural - perfect for those concerned about what they're using on their skin.

For my Sunday night pamper bath  - the full shebang which includes deep cleansing, exfoliating and multiple masks (plus a candle or three), the Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliator* is my new pal. Suitable for all skin types - including the most sensitive, this finely grained creamy exfoliator removes impurities and unblocks pores, leaving my skin ridiculously soft. As in 'I can't stop stroking my face but I really should' kind of soft. My skin looks so much more radiant and it allows the masks and lotions and potions to sink straight in and nourish my skin. It uses grapefruit pulp to leave the skin hydrated and comfortable, as well as menthol which leaves it feeling cool and fresh - a somewhat addictive feeling!

On my mid week mini-pamper I've been reaching for the Caudalie Gentle Buffing Cream*. This is absolutely ideal for sensitive and reactive skin, as the exfoliating jojoba oil beads are housed in a soft and comfortable cream which has acacia honey to soothe and grape-seed oil to hydrate the complexion. I tend to skip a mask with this one as I find it hydrating enough on it's own. Although it might be a very gentle product, don't let that fool you - it's still very effective at removing dead skin and leaving soft and beautiful skin.

Will you be checking these out?
