Brow Faves

how-to-get-perfect-brows

A brow routine is something that I tend to be quite loyal to for a few months and then a new product comes along and its all change for the new few months. There's just something about finding a great product or two that work so well together I think.

I've been growing my brows out for the last couple of months after getting a bit tweezer-happy and they're finally starting to grow into a shape that I think suits my face. They're still too straight for my liking but I'm too nervous to start messing around with them again! I need a pro to fix that one for sure. I've been going for a more natural look of late and I've found the perfect duo of brow products to do that.

To define the shape and fill in all the sparse areas I use the Rodial Glamobrow in Ash Brown*. This is such a good colour match for me, not too brown and not too warm. The spoolie on the end is super useful for combing my long brow hairs in place before using the fine nib to draw little individual hairs in. It's quite a bit more pricey than a lot of pencils I've used in the past, but this is a firm favourite of mine now and one that I will definitely repurchase. Rodial Glamobrow never looks harsh and I doubt you could ever go crazy with it and end up with marker pen brows!

Because my brow hairs are crazy long (whyy?), I have to add a brow gel to set them in place and stop them from blowing around in the wind, as who wants that? For this I'm currently using the HD Brows Brow Beater*. This is a fine setting lotion that slicks my brows into place all day, but without any stickiness or crispy brows. In fact, you can't see it on there at all but it certainly does the job. As with all clear brow gels, the HD Brows Brow Beater clings onto any other products you use beneath it so it looks a bit gross in the tube now, but for perfect brows I think I can overlook that!

Have you used either of these?
