Liz Earle - More Than Just Cleanse & Polish

Liz Earle Makeup

The iconic Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser has defined Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare for the last 20 years, and that's no surprise either. Indeed, it's a cleanser which seems to have sparked off more than one generation's first foray into good skincare (including my own), and it was one of the first cream cleansers to be introduced to the market which led to near enough every brand releasing their own version.

But, while Liz's perfectly curated skincare line is with no doubt groundbreaking, the makeup line from the brand is not one to be pushed aside. Now, even as a massive fan of the Liz Earle brand, I must admit I was late to this one, but if nothing else it was well worth the wait and I have most certainly been kicking myself for taking my time!

I've been long intrigued to try the Liz Earle Signature Foundation which has received rather high praise that I can most definitely contribute to. It's a light to medium foundation which offers a natural finish that makes my dull dry skin look much more full of life without being too dewy. It brings a radiance to my skin while somehow sitting somewhere in between a satin and matte finish. Perfect for the those with dry and dehydrated skin, the Liz Earle Signature Foundation is a beautiful everyday base that covers most of my bad skin woes without caking. The only downside is that its limited to three shades.

To complement the foundation I picked up the Liz Earle Radiant Glow Bronzer which I have since become rather obsessed with. I can't convey quite how gorgeous this bronzer is but it's most likely my favourite bronzer to date. Strong statement I know, but sometimes you just have to shout it from the rooftops! It comprises of four gorgeous glow giving shades which add dimension and contour to the face as well as a healthy finish. Either pick out the individual shades or do as I do; and swirl the brush into all of these delicious hues. It applies the perfect amount of colour with a gorgeous sheen and it's certainly not too much for my pale skin. Ladies, we have a couple of winners here.

Have you got any Liz Earle makeup favourites?
