The face oil I'm totally smitten with

Yes to blueberries face & neck oil

If you've been reading Lelore for any length of time you'll know that I don't go a day without using a face oil. They work so well for my dry skin and have completely changed its condition over the last 18 months or so. My skin is no longer flaky and although it still has dry days it's so much better than it was. I find face oils so relaxing and therapeutic to massage in before bed and they really help fade blemishes over time.

Lately I've been switching up my evening face oils and I'm totally smitten with this new face oil release from Yes To Blueberries. The Yes To Blueberries range is the anti-ageing arm of the Yes To family and it's also cruelty free and mostly made from natural ingredients. The Yes To Blueberries Face & Neck Oil* recently launched in Boots and it's a bit good. It gives the skin a boost of fatty acids to help nourish and plump up and diminish the appearance of fine lines.

I find this really similar in texture to The Body Shop Vitamin E Serum in Oil as it's a relatively light and liquid oil that absorbs straight into the skin. I've been using this now for about six weeks and tend to use it about three nights a week as I'm still using rosehip oil to fade my remaining blemish scars. After massaging it in for five minutes or so my skin feels really comfortable and soft and you can either leave it there or add your evening moisturiser on top. I find it's really nice paired with the Garner Miracle Sleeping Cream for when I really want to go to town on my skin (you can thank me later!). Come morning my skin looks and feels much more nourished and healthy. I know that quite a few people are allergic to rosehip oil and it seems that most face oils include it. However, the Yes To Blueberries Face & Neck Oil doesn't so if you sit in the allergic camp and want to use an oil that doesn't cost the earth you should give this one a go.

In other news, you might have noticed that I've been playing around with backgrounds lately. As much as I like a white background I've been getting a bit bored of it lately. What do you think, shall I switch things up more often? It's so hard to get backgrounds right and keep them unique to you but I feel like I need to dabble for a bit!

What do you think about face oils and will you be picking this one up?
