September favourites

september_favourites

It really says everything when every version of this photo I have tried to save has been named October favourites...I am mega late putting this post together, so apologies. I blame a very hectic few weeks at work and the final stages of wedding planning, but hopefully things will get back to normal around these parts soon; I might go crazy if not!

An old love of mine which I've been eyeing up in Space NK for a while recently is the Nude Miracle Mask Exfoliating Mask (£38). My skin has been horrendous of late, with lots of bumps under the skin so I've gone back to this mask to try and fix the damage. It has fine rice particles that leave my skin so soft and smooth, almost like glass. It also contains AHA's and hyaluronic acid that between them exfoliate away dead skin and reveal a much more brighter and hydrated complexion. Me love, again.

With two week's to go to my wedding (I know, where is the time going?!), I want to keep my hair in the best condition as I can. I had a trim lately and it feels much better but to be safe I've been using the GHD Heat Protectant Spray  (£9.99). I love the smell of this, it's nice and light and doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky. I've always used pretty cheap heat sprays before (or none at all), but I'm really impressed with this so far.

I've waxed lyrical about this little beaut to anyone that will listen, but I have absolutely been loving the new Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne (£40) since I got it last month. It's a completely unisex, fresh and uplifting scent and I'm totally addicted to it. I gushed more about it here if you want to read more. I've also since plumped for the candle as it's gorgeous and I have no restraint. Oops.

Makeup wise I've been keeping things fairly simple lately. I did go a bit crazy last week so I'll have some new bits to share with you soon. I had to pop to Boots to buy an emergency eyebrow pencil as I was travelling with work and somehow left mine at home. I bought the Soap & Glory Brow Archery 2-in-1 Brow Filing Pencil and Brush (£8) and I'm really impressed with it so far. It has a small and precise nib and a spoolie on the end which is super handy when you're on the go.

I'm really digging liquid eyeliner at the moment, and while I still need to nail the cat flick, the Lord & Berry Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Forever Black* (£15) has been making my life quite easy. It's super black and really easy to use thanks to a fine silicone nib. I've even been applying this one when sat on the train to work. Crazy I know, but that 10 minutes extra in bed is worth risking panda eyes for!

Have you tried any of these and what have you been obsessed with lately?
